Over the past year I have been working on a series of artworks for the extension of The Rosie Hosptial at Addenbrookes in Cambridge. The new building has been designed to put users at ease and create a friendly environment. The artwork focused on the emotions of people using the unit, and was deliberately abstract. [...]
This screen was designed for a new library in Milton Keynes. The library is a new custon built unit in a shopping area. The idea was to create a space for people to use as a meeting hub within the library. The design uses letters which rain down around the curved glass screen. Hidden within the random letters are words and book titles, creating an interest for those visiting the library.
